Military Prayer List
As a parish family, we at St. Ambrose pray for all the members of our parish. We especially pray for our parishioners and their relatives who are currently on active duty in the military. (Please call the rectory wirh your family member's name so that he or she can be included in a weekly prayer list in our bulletin.)
Our parishioners currently on active duty in the military:
U.S. Air Force: Joshua Dickinson, Jason McMicken
U.S. Army: Thomas Carey, Donald Fallin, Joe Hranek, Chuck Hranek, Robert Maloney, Paul Musa Jr., Aaron Runne, Jason Wilson
U.S. Marine Corps: Jon Hackett, Erik Kobs, Zachary Reardon, Shawn Runne
U.S. Navy: Richard Konrad
The following prayer is suggested for their wellbeing and safety:
Lord and Holy Protector, when Abraham and Sarah left their own land and departed from their own people, you kept them safe all through their journey. Protect our children, our husbands and wives, our mothers and fathers and our friends and loved ones who serve our country in times of war and conflict. Walk by their side and calm any fear; Be their companion and guide their thoughts; Encircle them with your light and keep them from harm; And when their service is ended, lead them safely home again. For you, O God, are our shelter in every storm and our refuge in times of danger. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
